Accessibility
Accessibility Statement
Baptist University of Florida (BUF) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including individuals with disabilities. We are continuously working to improve the user experience for everyone and to apply relevant accessibility standards across the BUF website.
Our Commitment
We strive to make our website accessible and usable by as many people as possible. Our goal is to support access to information, services, and learning opportunities without barriers.
Accessibility Standards
BUF aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, where reasonably possible, and we review our site periodically to identify and address accessibility issues.
Ongoing Improvements
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We work to:
- Improve keyboard navigation and focus visibility
- Provide appropriate text alternatives for images and non-text content
- Maintain sufficient color contrast and readable typography
- Support assistive technologies such as screen readers
- Ensure forms, headings, and links are structured clearly and consistently
Third-Party Content
Some pages may include third-party tools or content that BUF does not fully control. While we encourage accessibility among our partners and vendors, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of external content. We will do our best to provide accessible alternatives when feasible.
Need Help or Want to Report an Issue?
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the BUF website, please let us know. When you contact us, include the page URL (if possible) and a brief description of the issue so we can respond promptly.
